FAQs
Q: How do I apply the Iron On Labels?
- Iron on Labels are for application on fabric and clothing items only.
- Remove both the clear sheet from the back of the label and the frosted tape that covers the front. These help protect and preserve the integrity of the label before use.
- Place the label in the desired location on the garment with the printing facing up.
- Place the piece of heat resistant parchment supplied with your labels over the top of the label.
- Iron the parchment with the label underneath applying firm pressure using a dry iron set at 300-315 degrees F for 30 seconds.
- Remove the parchment when the transfer has cooled. The transfer should be bonded to the fibers of the fabric. Never apply an iron directly to the label as this will cause the label to melt. Always use the heat resistant parchment placed on top of the label
Q: How do I apply the Vinyl Labels?
- Peel the label from the white backing sheet and apply it to a clean, dry, smooth surface.
- Gently smooth the label onto the surface. Avoid rough surfaces if possible.
- Allow 12 hours before washing the surface to ensure the label has completely adhered to the surface.
Q: How do I apply the Wall Tattoos?
- Wall Tattoos should be applied to clean, dry, smooth surfaces. They work best on painted surfaces like walls.
- When you receive the tattoos they will be in a roll. Take them out of the roll and lay them flat
- The packaging will be a little like a sandwich with a backing paper and a paper on the front of the tattoo....the tattoo itself will be wedged in the middle.
- Start by removing the backing paper to expose the tattoos adhesive backin.
- Position the tattoo in the desired location and carefully place the tattoo on the wall.
- Smooth the tattoo gently with your hands until it has fully adhered to the wall. Do not rub the tattoo too vigorously as it may make the tattoo more difficult to remove from the wall and it will make it harder to get any air bubbles out.
- Once you are happy with the placement of the tattoo carefully remove the front sheet that covers the front of the tattoo. If you choose a corner and work slowly from there you can gradually peel off the backing sheet as you press the tattoo to the wall
- If there are air bubbles underneath the tattoo use a squeegee or dry cloth to push the air bubbles to the edge and out from under the tattoo.
- Tattoo sets are printed on a single sheet. So if your tattoos are a group of images like "Blast Off" you might want to use a pair of scissors to cut them into single images. Remember to keep both the front and backing sheets on when you do this. This will make it easier for you to position them correctly.
- Wall Pals usually are printed on 2 sheets due to their size. So the one image will arrive in 2 pieces that fit together. It is best to position one piece first and remove air bubbles etc before applying the second piece
Q: Are clothes with the iron on label safe to put in the dryer?

Q: What types of fabrics can the iron on labels be applied to?
Iron on labels may be applied to most cotton and cotton blend fabrics as well as some textured synthetics. If you are unsure test the label on an inconspicuous place on the garment.
Q: Can I put a Vinyl Label on something that goes in the dishwasher?
Yes. All our labels are made from high quality, self adhesive vinyl material. They are waterproof, fade resistant, microwave proof, dishwasher safe and are extremely durable.
Q: Can I remove the wall tattoos and reapply them elsewhere?
While the tattoos are removable they are not made to be repositionable. They are not made to be stuck and removed several times and so we cannot guarantee that if you remove them you will be able to re-stick them again or even that you will be able to remove them in one piece. Our tattoos are made to be used once only. When removed we recommend that you dispose of them responsibly.
Q: Can the wall tattoos be cleaned?
Yes. The tattoos are waterproof so they may be cleaned by wiping them with a damp cloth.
No. Our Create_A_Label tool allows you to see an approximation of what your label will look like after you have selected your color, font, text and icon. However the font/text sizes displayed on the tool are just an estimation of the size of the actual text that will appear on your label. All our labels are hand made so they may appear slightly different in size to that shown by the tool. Also colors shown are indicative although not always exact. Different computer monitors display colors slightly differently so it is intended to give the purchaser an idea of the overall look of the label NOT an exact replica.
Q: Is the label I design with your "Create-A-Label" tool going to be EXACTLY the same as the labels I receive?
